At the Black Swan Inn, Swanage If you have yet to visit this historic pub then you are in for a real treat. Even as you approach the Grade ll listed building you get a sense of the warm welcome that awaits you inside this cosy establishment. Located in the centre of Old Swanage, half way up the High Street, formerly a 17th century Coaching House with old oak beams and real fires burning to create a welcoming atmosphere on a cold winters night. Whilst the newly refurbished patio garden makes the perfect setting for lazy, hazy summer nights where you can sit back and listen to live music and watch the sun go down while sipping your favourite tipple or testing one of the Dorset brewed real ales. The Black Swan offers an excellent range of pub cuisine with a strong French influence. The well thought out menu, which receives rave reviews, also caters for vegetarians and those with allergens, offering several gluten free options. While the kitchen team provide delicious meals, the front of house team, always offer a friendly reception to regulars and holidaymakers alike with a good knowledge of the local ales and ciders. In or out of season you will find the Black Swan to be a very busy public house so it is always wise to book a table for dinner to avoid disappointment.
